Day 2 Embodied Pause
Protecting Your Peace:
Identifying your energy drains and energy resources gives you greater clarity on what needs to change to create a better balance.
Energy drains: Often the activities that drain us can be a part of our weekly or daily schedule, knowing how they are impacting you gives you a moment to show yourself greater compassion and understanding of why you feel the way that you do and it also gives you direction on how to create better balance.
1) What are your energy drains? energy drains (e.g., thinking patterns (getting stuck in self-criticism, doubt, shame, guilt.) - scrolling - work load - childcare responsibilities etc
2) What are your resources (e.g. quiet time, social connection, exercise, journaling, creativity, going away for a day, hiking, sauna etc). (Remember resourcing is not the same as self-regulating, it is the activities that we do that give us greater capacity and energy.)
3) Reflection: What is the one non-negotiable resource you must protect time to do this week to feel more capable?
